Random... but keep scrolling cuz I posted a bunch

Me and my besties on Lynanne's birthday.

Just in case some of you didn't actually receive my Christmas card...Mindi. Sorry!!
Check out that cheezy grin.

Wonderful Snow Storms

Though we haven't gotten nearly as much snow as all you Spokanites, we have had our fair share. I love that our back yard is safe. The past 2 years we had to worry about the kids walking on broken glass and garbage. I love our place now!! And we even have a little sledding hill right outside our back sliding door.
Making a snow angel, of course.
Gotta love the sock mittens lol!
King of the mountain!
Taking a ride with our sled dog. I don't really know what's going on with my face there.

Christmas Morning

Mason being a scary robot!!
One of the boys' favorite toys. It's so cool! Thanks Lynanne!!
Guitar Hero. Yeah!

They each get their own guitars. Actually Mason's crappy cheap one broke and I should probably return it, but time just flies by. It was nice being able to have a nice Christmas and not stress about being able to buy enough gifts. We had a nice day, full of playing and putting toys together. We went and saw Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler and it was good. Then came home to a nice dinner of ribs and mashed taters. Awesome day!

Catching up

At Hunters' school, they had a gingerbread house project for all the kids and their siblings. It was so cute and surprisingly not too hectic trying to keep all the frosting off the kids clothes. Luckily I have amazingly good children, because there were some kids covered from head to toe in frosting. Haha to those parents.

Thank God they didn't try to eat the candy. Who knows whose hands were all over that stuff.

Merry Christmas!!

Well, I'll just start by saying Merry Christmas to everyone! I love you all and I hope your Christmases are great! Mine is halfway over already and it's been so fun and hectic just getting all the toys put together, trying to clean as I go and watching the kids and Ken play with all their new toys. Ken got Guitar Hero for his playstation with an extra guitar for Hunter to play, so they've been doing that all day (with a short break to let me watch my new movie, Mamma Mia) Mason is so good at entertaining himself that he is spending all his time on a GeoTrax train and airplane set. We are planning to go see Bedtime Stories, the new Adam Sandler movie a little later and then come home and do a bbq rib dinner. Why not, right? I will definitely need to post pics from this morning, but it will have to wait for a bit, cuz I'd like to enjoy as much of this time as I can. Love you!

Putting up the tree

Here is a random picture of our Sonny puppy. He looks so silly.

We put our tree up last night. It was fun because Mason was able to really help this year and has a bit more of an understanding of the festivities. I was so unstressed about Christmas until this weekend when I got suspended from my job. I'm waiting for them to decide whether or not I'm fired and in the meantime, the bills are piling up. We are toying with the idea of Ken just switching to night classes and working his job full time. It sounds like it might work out, but I go crazy with the boys around 24/7. Then I was thinking I could train for a job from home like Mel did. We shall see what happens.
Some of you might appreciate the fact that I have not had a soda in a full week now. Since last Monday when I had a UTI, I quit drinking soda and have had a lot more water. I definitely need to make some changes as you can see from this picture up there, I am carrying about 15 pounds more than I should be. I don't know how it happened, but something needs to be done. So I will update you as far as my unemployment goes and on the winter festivities. Love to all.

Recent Purchases

These are my 2 most recent purchases of things for myself. I realize that I should be buying things for Ken and the boys, but I already did!!! It is so nice to not have the stress of picking out Ken's Christmas present. He's definitely gonna like what he's getting too! Yea!! And I started early on gifts for the boys too, so this Christmas should be a good one. My egg donation has finally officially started. Thank God, considering it was supposed to happen months ago. Though it's probably good that it got postponed because I really want to save this money and use it for something really good!! (Like maybe a down payment on a house, wouldn't that be awesome!!)
I really can't wait to leave Springfield. The male population around here really like blonde headed, blue eyed girls and I get harassed constantly. When I was a teenager I liked being whistled or hollered at, but now I can't stand it. It happens at work all the time from the cooks and dishwashers who are Puerto Rican, so they say stuff in Spanish because I can't understand and it's so annoying. I've gone so far as to talk to my managers about it, but these guys have no shame. I don't want to be rude to them but it might come down to that. Ok, I'm done ranting.
