Merry Christmas!!
Well, I'll just start by saying Merry Christmas to everyone! I love you all and I hope your Christmases are great! Mine is halfway over already and it's been so fun and hectic just getting all the toys put together, trying to clean as I go and watching the kids and Ken play with all their new toys. Ken got Guitar Hero for his playstation with an extra guitar for Hunter to play, so they've been doing that all day (with a short break to let me watch my new movie, Mamma Mia) Mason is so good at entertaining himself that he is spending all his time on a GeoTrax train and airplane set. We are planning to go see Bedtime Stories, the new Adam Sandler movie a little later and then come home and do a bbq rib dinner. Why not, right? I will definitely need to post pics from this morning, but it will have to wait for a bit, cuz I'd like to enjoy as much of this time as I can. Love you!

Putting up the tree
Here is a random picture of our Sonny puppy. He looks so silly.
We put our tree up last night. It was fun because Mason was able to really help this year and has a bit more of an understanding of the festivities. I was so unstressed about Christmas until this weekend when I got suspended from my job. I'm waiting for them to decide whether or not I'm fired and in the meantime, the bills are piling up. We are toying with the idea of Ken just switching to night classes and working his job full time. It sounds like it might work out, but I go crazy with the boys around 24/7. Then I was thinking I could train for a job from home like Mel did. We shall see what happens.
Some of you might appreciate the fact that I have not had a soda in a full week now. Since last Monday when I had a UTI, I quit drinking soda and have had a lot more water. I definitely need to make some changes as you can see from this picture up there, I am carrying about 15 pounds more than I should be. I don't know how it happened, but something needs to be done. So I will update you as far as my unemployment goes and on the winter festivities. Love to all.

Recent Purchases
These are my 2 most recent purchases of things for myself. I realize that I should be buying things for Ken and the boys, but I already did!!! It is so nice to not have the stress of picking out Ken's Christmas present. He's definitely gonna like what he's getting too! Yea!! And I started early on gifts for the boys too, so this Christmas should be a good one. My egg donation has finally officially started. Thank God, considering it was supposed to happen months ago. Though it's probably good that it got postponed because I really want to save this money and use it for something really good!! (Like maybe a down payment on a house, wouldn't that be awesome!!)
I really can't wait to leave Springfield. The male population around here really like blonde headed, blue eyed girls and I get harassed constantly. When I was a teenager I liked being whistled or hollered at, but now I can't stand it. It happens at work all the time from the cooks and dishwashers who are Puerto Rican, so they say stuff in Spanish because I can't understand and it's so annoying. I've gone so far as to talk to my managers about it, but these guys have no shame. I don't want to be rude to them but it might come down to that. Ok, I'm done ranting.

Our Thanksgiving at the farm
We spent our Thanksgiving with my friend Lynanne's family in Rhode Island again this year. Her grandfather owns a poultry farm so we had some deliciously fresh turkey. Yum!! Our favorite part of visiting the farm is goimg to see the baby chicks. These little guys were hatched only 24 hours before we came to see them. They keep them in a giant incubator-like room with space heaters all over the place. They were so cute. This one is of Ken pretending to eat the chicky!! What a goof!
Sooooo cute! (and the chick is too) lol!
Mason did a good job being very soft. Unfortunately we couldn't get Hunter to hold still for a pose.
All the little chicks in their incubator. Now imagine this times 4 and that is how many there were.
All in all, our Thanksgiving was great but I am so excited that this was the last one away from all the family.

Fall Festivities
Sorry all these pics are all out of order. We went to the pumpkin patch the other day and had a great time. Hunter was all about carving his pumpkin and did such a great job. He scraped it clean and even cut out his pumpkin face(with supervision)
Mason's is a spider
My super awesome work of art
At the pumpkin patch...I wanted to be in one of the pics
Good looking family
They had a small zoo at the pumpkin patch. We stole the rabbits' food to feed the goats.

Sorry
I'm sorry I'm a terrible blogger. I've been busy now that Ken is back to school. I need to work as much as possible. Hunter is in soccer and both of the boys are in gymnastics. It is really cute and they love it. Hunter is back in Pre-school too and is doing great. I've got some pictures from gymnastics, just a matter of taking the time to upload. Hunter scored 2 goals in his last soccer game and they won, so that's pretty exciting. I've got another egg donation coming up soon. And that's about all. Sorry for being such a disappointment.
