My Mother's Day.....

......was soooo awesome. It was definitely the best one ever. I slept in and woke up to the kids waiting with presents. They got me a necklace that says"A mother holds her childs heart forever" and a windchime to put up at our new home(moving this week and next) Hunter handcrafted my card with roses, pumpkins and a giraffe and signed his own name. Very awesome. Then they left to go get me Starbucks while I got ready for the day. For those who don't know, there aren't too many Starbucks over here and it is a wonderful treat. They came home and Ken and I each had a morning time Mimosa( champagne and OJ) and then we left to go to the butterfly conservatory in a nearby town. This place was so awesome and peaceful. Even though it seemed like everyone thought it would be a good idea to take their moms there on Mother's day and it was pretty packed. It was just so beautiful and fun. The butterflies just land on people and you can hold them. Ken packed the transfer cord so I can't load the pictures, but next week I will. I got a cute butterfly bracelt and some earrings to match and a butterfly cookie cutter. Fun. We had icecream cones and then we went shopping for a new bedroom set. I'm so excited. We've never had a nice bedroom set so I can't wait for it to be delivered on Thursday. We are having it delivered to the new place, so I get to sit in an empty apartment for three or four hours and wait for the delivery guys. Very exciting. Then we went to dinner at Red Robin. I love that place. That was pretty much our day. I watched desperate housewives and went to bed. Wonderful day. I wish they could all be that great.
So, completely off subject, but I just thought of it. Mason scared me today. As you know we are packing to move and my china cabinet is now empty so Mason decided it would be a good place to hide. he started to cry and I went to check on him. He was wedged in the middle of the doors and cockeyed and so screwed up stuck I thought I would have to call 911 to get him out. His poor little chubby belly was all smashed and stuck and he was screaming. He didn't understand what I was telling him to do to maneuver him out. It was very sad and a pretty frustrating 15 minutes. Luckily I didn't have to call the ambulance. Poor guy.
Well, happy mothers day to anyone I didn't get to tell yesterday. Hopefully I will update soon, but you all know how I am.

No motivation

So I just read everybody's blogs for like the first time in forever. I am very proud of everyone that is taking part in the weight loss challenge. I, however, seriously hate working out and I can't get motivated to do anything. All I want to do is sleep. I'm very depressed. I was thinking of joining a gym that has childcare and tanning. That would probably be good for all of us, but the motivation even to go get the membership isn't there. I can't wait to come home to visit.
Ken's last day of school was yesterday. He has been going out and getting drunk these last couple of nights. I'm a little jealous. I wish I had people to go out with.
We are packing for our move across town next week. I hate moving.
Bye.

Pics finally

So I finally uploaded all the pictures from my camera. There's only one catch..... go to myspace to see them. There's a ton of them and I don't want to do it twice. It's www.myspace.com/morgantz if you don't have an account. You should still be able to view it.

I got nothin'

I am very excited. We got a new puppy, a little 2.5 lb pomeranian. His name is Sonny. He is soooo cute. I found my camera, yea!!!! Now it's a matter of uploading. He pees everywhere. Poor Ken has stepped in pee like 10 times tonight alone. What else? I am training for bartending at work. Pretty excited about that. Donating eggs again. I'll be headed to Boston at the end of the week I think. Ken is working at a law firm. In a couple of weeks he has some formal dinners for school. I am very excited to have a reason to dress up. Hunter and Mason are cute as ever. Hunter is so smart. I love all the little projects he brings home from pre-school. And Mason always has to bring his backpack too when we drop off Hunter. We'll be putting Hunter back in soccer this spring. He also told me he wanted to be in karate after he saw it on a commercial. Poor Mason, there's nothing out there for such young kids. Well, that's all that's new for now. I know I always say it, but I'll try to be better about my blogging.

Catching up

So I really can't believe how much we all suck at blogging now. It was so nice to have mom here the last few weeks and I didn't have to share her with anyone but the boys. I'm sure as much as she enjoyed spending every second with the kids, that she was glad to get back to Don. On her last night here we went and got our hair done and shopped and had dinner. It was sooooo nice to have her all to myself. I was very sad to send her home.
Hunter started pre-school last week. He is really enjoying it. He came home with a little note from one of his classmates. It just said "hi", but she's 4 so it was really cute. They are learning about mail so he wants to put everything in envelope. Tonight when I got home from work and went to kiss him goodnight, he said, "knock knock" I said "who's there" he said "Boo" I said "Boo who?" He said"Don't cry, mommy, it's only a joke." It was hilarious. Ken teaches Hunter all these funny things, like "Whatcha eatin under there?"
Nothing much else going on at the moment. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Winter Fun!!

We had about 10 inches of snow today, so what better thing to do than go play in it, right?! The boys had a good time, Hunter especially. Mason liked the snow but hated having to wear mittens. We spent a little while outside and then came in for some hot cocoa and a snack. It was fun knowing that there was absolutely no reason to leave the house and lazing around was the thing to do today. After Ken came home from school he and Hunter went out and played some more. They made about 5 "snowmen" (actually they were mounds of unpackable snow, but it was cute) We are expecting another storm this weekend, so hopefully I can still make it to work.

Missing home

Sorry, it's been a while. Our camera is in need of some TLC and there really hasn't been anything exciting happening to take pictures of anyways. I am pretty sad lately with the holidays and no family around. I know the boys are bored too and I wish we had the cousins nearby to play with. I heard all you girls got together and made the Christmas cookies. I did too, all by myself. I don't remember it being such a huge pain in the ass as it was. Maybe having helpers is what makes it so fun. I am so excited to have mom coming up in January. I'm sure she's pretty excited too. I should know a little more about that by the end of the week. Well, not much going on around here, just work and bills and more work. I love and miss you all!!
