We finally see New York

Times Square
The underside view of an amzing crystal chandalier at Rockefeller Center
Skaters at Rockefeller Center
I'm sad cuz Hunter is to busy watching the giant M&M TV screen outside the window to pose with me
Ken is very excited
Don't mind the ugly green hat. My ears were cold

At M&M World in Times Square

I was most excited to see the Olive Garden. I am a dork.

So, as you can see, we finally made a trip to NYC. I had to go to New Jersey for an egg donor thing, so being so close to the city, we had to go. It was funny because as soon as we crossed the Lincoln Tunnel, we didn't know what to do or where to go, so we parked at a garage and decided we'd get a map. We didn't even need to. Two blocks up and one block over, we realize we are standing in Times Square. It was so amazing. Traffic was insane, pedestrians never losing a stride as they jet out into traffic. The honking was quite amusing as was seeing the drivers of the buses swearing at all the people walking in front of the bus. I held onto Hunter's hand for dear life. We went into the M&M store and Hershey's store. I bought a souvenir teacup to add to my others and Ken got a painting from a street vendor. It was very cool. We walked around Rockefeller Center and saw the Christmas tree, though it was not yet lit(the 28th) and the skating rink that you see in all the movies. We had dinner at the Olive Garden. I've always heard how amazing the OG is in NY so I had to go. It has multi levels. WOW!!!! Yeah, I'm a nerd. And then we left for the long drive home. Thanks Ken for driving and not making me stay awake. I was pooped. There will definitely be another NYC trip planned as soon as possible.

Catching up

It's been a while. There is not much going on in our lives right now. Ken is super busy with school. I can't believe it's almost finals time. Time sure does fly. We'll be home before we know it. For me, work is stupid as ever. I was thinking of looking for a new job, but I'm comfortable at Olive Garden. I'll just have to deal with the fact that "I'm not good enough for management" and go to school eventually. If we were living in Washington I could have started school already. The state of Massachusetts really sucks when it comes to aide for low income families. The holidays are coming up quickly. What are the family plans? I wish we could be there, but my bestest friend over here has invited us to spend Thanksgiving with her family and I am so grateful. I love her. They live in Rhode Island, so that will be another state to mark on the map. Well, I'm gonna eat some chocolate and then go to bed.
